Preposition + Present Participle (-ing)

The more complex the sentence the more confusing it becomes to know when to use conjugated verbs, infinitive verbs, or the present participle.

A common mistake I see is using the wrong verb form after prepositions.

If you have a preposition followed by a verb, the verb must always be in the present participle form (-ing).
